Putting love into action

Our conspiracy of kindness activities extend not just to our locality but also to our church family.

For Peter and Judy Brown, who are currently working in South Africa with Rainbows of Hope, they look to churches like us for prayer and financial support.  Moreover, being part of a church family.

That means for us at Harefield we have a responsibility to look out for them, to show care and put our love into action

Therefore when we found out about Peter's hearing problems, we were only too willing to help out and show our love and support for them.  Money was transferred to South Africa enabling him to purchase hearing aids.

'Greetings from us both in South Africa

We thought we would send you a photo of Peter's hearing aids so that you can see how neatly they fit into his ears. (It's just a picture of one as the other one is the same - sorry, Peter's ear really isn't a 'pretty' picture!!)

This is a photo of Peter at work on his current project.

He has been going back every week to have the hearing aids adjusted and they seem to be working well. He had to have a little bit shaved off one of them as it was rubbing on his ear and making it sore but it seems OK now.

Thanks to everyone at Harefield, the hearing aids are making a big difference so Peter is feeling really encouraged. It's easier for him to participate in team meetings and actually hear everyone now.

Please pass on our thanks again to the church and let them know that the hearing aids are working well.'
