Actions speak louder than words – in life, in love and in sharing the Gospel!

During two Saturdays in July 2007 we have given away nearly 2,000 ice-cold drinks absolutely free.

It was a time for all to get involved and have fun making a difference!

On each of the Saturdays bad weather was forecast, but not on us, sun cream was the order of the day. 

Handing out cold drinks and specially printed cards, we took the opportunity to demonstrate the love of God to people in Harlow.

People are always surprised to receive something for nothing without any hidden catches.  A time for us to be different.

With teams deployed with bright red containers overflowing with ice and cold drinks at various sites across the retail parks, we handed out our free gifts.

With a backup prayer team at the Harefield Church base, everyone could be actively involved.

Engaging with local people, laughing with children while they chose their drinks, it was never a dull time.

There was never a moment to relax, with three support vehicles loaded with supplies ready to replenish the teams.

As quickly as the drinks were being given out, the support teams refilled the red boxes.
