Harlow foodbank

What is a foodbank?

The foodbank is a ground-breaking concept designed to help individuals and families in crisis by providing free emergency food until the appropriate agencies are in a position to assist.  The Harlow foodbank is run by MRCT partnering with the churches in Harlow.

Harlow foodbank needs your help

If everyone in the Harefield family added one item to their shopping list it would make a huge difference.  They don't have to be the well-known brands, they can be a supermarket's own or value ranges.

Please consider providing some of these products when and if you can.  Simply bring them to the church and put them in the collection box.

If there is a shortage of an item at the central warehouse we will try to contact as many of you as possible with this one-off need, asking if you could purchase this item on your next shopping run.

On a regular basis we will transport these over to the central warehouse.  We will keep you updated with how the collecting is going.
