Maybury Centre - Harefield

We live in a world where everyone is encouraged to improve themselves and achieve.  We soon discover that in society this is not always possible.   Not everyone has the same opportunities or encouragement to develop as an individual.

The Michael Roberts Charitable Trust (MRCT) has been established to help and support people who are often perceived as being disadvantaged.  Disadvantaged through either disability or social difficulties.

MRCT makes a difference

MRCT makse a difference by providing opportunities so that these people can have a helping hand to improve their lives, enabling and empowering them to develop to their full potential.

Providing helping hands

Providing helping hands since its formation as a charity in 1997 they have sought to involve people with a disability in all aspects of their work.

MRCT promote the value and significance of each person as an individual, encouraging them to take an active  role in decision-making and future planning.

MRCT promote community

MRCT promote community integration for people with a learning and / or physical disability and provide opportunities for them to help meet social need in Harlow and London.

The charity also works in Poland and Ghana providing programmes of support for disabled people.
