Mission

Our Mission is to spread the News

We understand the Mission that God has given us is to witness to Christ in the power of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:8) both locally, nationally and internationally.

The purpose of this witness is to make disciples of all nations, baptising them and teaching them to obey everything that Christ has commanded (Matthew 28:19-20).

As a church, Harefield is involved in local, national and international mission – that is, we seek to be Christ’s witnesses and make disciples, both in Harlow and overseas.  We do not wish to emphasise local mission at the expense of world mission, or to emphasise international mission at the expense of what God is doing in our nation.

We want to be an outward looking church

It is our policy to be outward looking – to be constantly concerned that the gospel is reaching people that need Christ.

In keeping with the Great Commission, we are concerned that new believers are established in their faith and incorporated in a local church.

Demonstrating God's love into the world

Today's church is about connecting with people.  As Jesus has made such a difference in our lives we want to share the love that we have discovered with everyone we come into contact with.

At Harefield we encourage people to get involved and one of the ways is to connect to one of our community groups.  So discover more about where you can connect -
